The responsibility of nurturing children into youth is enriching and challenging for the adult community. It is impossible for this process to reach its goal without the combined efforts of educators and the parent community. A warm, friendly relationship between teachers and parents would be a characteristic feature of the VYAS WORLD SCHOOL since its inception. At VYAS, we welcome parents as our active partners in the process of nourishing young minds. Their active participation creates an atmosphere of cordiality and goodwill. Having chosen an educational approach whose intent they value, it would be important for the parents to associate closely with the school, so that there is harmony and consistency for the child at home and at school. In addition to relating to the school in the context of their child, we encourage them to be involved in various activities of the school and share their experiences, insights and skills.
With enrolled parents, the following initiatives would be undertaken:
- We have plans to organise workshops, orientation programmes, events and festivals to engage parents in the process of learning, so that they and the school are in sync and take equal responsibility for the child's growth and development.
- Parent Orientation Session for new parents before the start of every school session.
- Interactive Parent Open-House Interactions where the Parents, the Management, the Principal and the Faculties will share the common platform. These sessions will involve sharing suggestions, views and concerns by all, thereby initiating transparency in operations & prompt remedial actions.
- Progress review meetings at the end of each exam/test for every child.
- Parents would be invited to be a part of their child's Birthday Celebration and during Prize Distribution.
- There will be a Dedicated Help Desk for Parents wherein, the parent can either call at Toll Free No. or Whatsapp or Mail or Submit his/her concern via Website/VWS app. Every concern/suggestion will be promptly looked upon, and a solution for the same will be communicated to the parent the same day.
- A separate Parent’s Lounge to make them comfortable when they visit school has been planned in the admin block.
