Co-Curricular Activity

At VYAS, the co-curricular calendar will be a vibrant and lively mix of innovative weekly, monthly and annual programmes, performances, assemblies, inter-house and interschool events.

We firmly believe that a child who is exposed to a multitude of experiences, as opposed to being solely focused on book-learning, is the kind of child who grows up to excel socially, emotionally and professionally. These influences will be gently introduced into the child's perspective over his or her time at VYAS WORLD SCHOOL through our co-curricular activities.

Co-curricular programmes at VYAS WORLD SCHOOL will range from Sports to variety of Creative Arts, helping to develop interpersonal, leadership and communication skills in children. Year-round Literary and Cultural Competitions and the House system we have in place, will reinforce team spirit and confidence. These activities give children the impetus, in an atmosphere of constructive and healthy competition to discover individual talents, work in collaboration and to become high achievers. VYAS students will have a healthy involvement in inter-school competitions, both to challenge themselves, as well as to benchmark our strengths and performance. Activity competitions will be held during the school year that will include Music, Dance, Speech and Drama and Art and Craft. Students will participate in Quizzes, Recitation, Elocution, Declamation, Storytelling, Word Games and Debates, Improving Performances and Setting Challenging Goals.

While children in Junior School will be exposed to the entire breadth and range of the programme, Middle School Students would be encouraged to make specialized choices based on their areas of interest and talent.
